Can Preschoolers Play Hangman?

Do you remember the game HangMan from your childhood? Here is a way of adapting it as a learning activity for one or more pre-schoolers.

Firstly write all of the letters of the alphabet on a piece of paper or blackboard. Color vowels one color (perhaps red so that they stand out) and the consonants another color. Explain the color differences to your child.

What Did You Do During Your Vacation? - We Built a City!

During our recent school holidays, an amazing event took place in the main town square in central Auckland (New Zealand). “We Built This City” is an event by Polyglot Theatre and has been travelling the world since 2001.

Little April Fools

Not all jokes are kind and gentle, but April Fools Day is a great opportunity to have some fun with your littlies. 

Try something very simple like crazy dress-ups. Very young children are still developing their sense of humor, so jokes need to be very basic. When you put on your clothes inside out and back to front your pre-schooler who is just mastering clothing themselves will think it is hilarious.
